Zeiss Compact CP.2: These lenses are special in that they can not only be fitted PL mounts like the others in the Zeiss family, but can also use Canon’s EF mount. This means that they can be mounted on DSLRs and other Canon mount cameras like the C-300. Though they contain the same glass as the Zeiss ZE series designed for the EF mount, the have a much more sturdy and ergonomic design that make them much easier to work with and accurately pull focus on. They do not have a consistent T-stop and are a bit sharp for digital shooting, but they are excellent all-around lenses and can add a great look to shoots on a budget and to lower end cameras.
